The process by which the beads are made is called spherification, which is named after the thin, jelly-like layer – sphere – created during the process.
Spherification is a controlled gelling process, a precise culinary technique where a liquid core is gently encapsulated in a thin, soft yet resilient jelly-like shell that bursts delightfully on the palate. Thanks to its plant-based ingredients, it’s fully vegan. Both the core and the shell share the same composition—the only difference lies in their physical state.
We use a gelling agent of plant origin (algae), which reacts with calcium in an aqueous medium to create a denser, jelly-like texture.
Handmade product! Each cocktail pearl is made by hand and with a shaping spoon, separately, one by one. It is our meditation.
It varies — our alcoholic pearls typically have an average liquor strength (16–22% ABV).
Our aim is to explore flavors and textures, so tasting more than one is part of the experience. We proudly support moderate alcohol consumption.
PearlShots Rocks are slightly stronger (30% ABV), as they’re mixed with champagne or energy drinks. These shots were designed to elevate the party mood — always with the intention of enjoying alcohol responsibly and in moderation.
